It’s common for the strip out phase of a construction project to get overlooked, but how it’s delivered can often set the tone for how the rest of the job will go.
Done properly, it makes things safer, cleaner and easier for the trades that follow. Done incorrectly and you’ll spend time and money fixing problems that could have been avoided.
This phase is also a great opportunity to improve your refurbs sustainability, as the strip out is where you’ll usually generate the most amount of waste.
Careful removal and segregation means better recycling, less waste going to landfill and supports ESG and BREEAM targets without changing anything about the build. It’s an easy win if handled properly.
